Race registration closes 1 week before the event. Although we have to get orders in for finisher awards well before that. So if you expect to finish and want an award, SIGN UP EARLY.

Whenever possible we will try and make early packet pickup available, but we can't always do that. If you can't make it to packet pickup, the next best thing is have your friend pickup your packet. (Ultimately you are responsible for your bib number so if they lose it before getting it to you, your friend stinks.) Trying to get your packet and bib the morning of the race is not a good idea.

Unfortunately no, since MMTR meals are catered, we have to let the caterer know how many people will be eating in advance so they know how much food to prepare.

Since MMTR transports runners to the start line via bus, we need to know how many people will be riding. If you forgot to reserve a seat, email us. If you don't remember if you got a seat, look at your receipt.

No. MMTR is a time limited race. I get that you technically finished 50 miles, but the challenge of Masochist is to do it in 12 hours or less. So unfortunately you are only awarded a finisher shirt if you complete the race under time.

You are allowed to have a drop bag for MMTR, (don't bring a suitcase). The morning of the race, you will take your drop bag to the start line and place it in a trailer. Your bag will be transported to mile 23.6 and wait for you at Long Mountain Wayside. Then it will be taken to the finish line where you'll pick it up. If you leave it, I keep it.
