The Beast Series

The Beast consists of 6 total races throughout the year.  Holiday Lake 50K, Terrapin Mountain 50K, Promise Land 50K, Grindstone 100, Mountain Masochist 50 Miler and Hellgate 100k.

The LUS

The Lynchburg Ultra Series consists of 4 races throughout the year.  Holiday Lake 50K, Terrapin Mountain 50K, Promise Land 50K and Mountain Masochist 50 Miler.

Terrapin Mountain

Terrapin offers a half-marathon and 50k. Located in Sedalia, Virginia; Terrapin is a spring favorite for many runners.  Terrapin Mountain 50K is event #2 in the Beast Series & LUS.

Mountain Masochist 50 Miler

With over 36 years of history, MMTR is one of the most iconic 50 milers on the east coast. This point to point race follows winds through the Blue Ridge Mountains during the peak of fall.  Masochist is the 5th race in the Beast Series and the final race in the LUS.
